Private Record is a visual documentation and archive practice working across food and beverage, travel, hospitality and development, and archive stewardship.

We believe images should do more than promote a place, product, or experience. They should create a record of how it came into being, preserve the people and processes behind it, and remain useful long after a campaign has ended.

Our work moves between still and moving imagery, visual strategy, and archival systems. We document restaurants and culinary culture, travel and hospitality experiences, properties and development projects, and personal or institutional collections—building thoughtful image libraries that can support immediate communication while accumulating long-term cultural and operational value.

Our mission is to help people and organizations build a meaningful visual record of what they are creating now, while preserving the knowledge, history, and identity that will matter later.
